Parmalat’s CANSA 12-hour relay event is fast becoming a significant contributor in the battle against this life-threatening disease with more than 1800 people participating this year.
Marcom Plastics, one of the companies in the Forming division at Astrapak Limited, decided for the first time to support Parmalat in this worthy cause.
Marcom Plastics and Parmalat have developed a close business association, which Marcom decided to take to a new level by providing sponsorship.
The importance of this sponsorship is seen by Marcom Plastics as a reinforcement of an already fully integrated partnership where the two companies cross-pollinate their Quality Control departments, production teams and sales force in order to understand their full requirements and to clearly show what capabilities they have.
Although this is the first year that Marcom Plastics supported the CANSA 12-hour relay, which has a growing attendance, there is every intention of showing continued solidarity against this killer disease and in so doing, bolstering a broad spectrum partnership with Parmalat in years to come.
Emphasising this fact, Gerhard van Reenen, General Manager at Marcom Plastics, said: “Parmalat is an important customer; an anchor customer of Marcom Plastics. We would like to support them whenever we can and we appreciate their clientele. Marcom is privileged to be a part of a cause that they so strongly support.”
Marcom Plastics is proud to be associated with Parmalat in support of this noble cause.
