Astrapak has ranked 11th in the Most Empowered Companies 2016 survey that was recently conducted by Empowerdex, South Africa’s leading empowerment rating agency. Astrapak’s result from Empowerdex’s annual assessment of JSE-listed companies reflects their commitment to Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE).

Earlier this year, Astrapak completed their assessment under the new codes for B-BBEE, achieving certification as a Level 4 B-BBEE contributor, noting that the overall scores had improved significantly.
Astrapak’s commitment to B-BBEE and transformation is unwavering and the Board and management acknowledge their responsibility to support the process. The entire Astrapak Team – particularly the Head Office, Human Resource and Procurement teams – are driving change as the cornerstone of the company’s strategy.
